New Year's Eve. Time to clarify direction?
12 weeks proved the publishing model works. Consistency generates revenue. Transparency builds trust.
But here's what I'm changing in 2026.
The Shift
I've been teaching tactics: how to write hooks, optimize profiles, structure content, monetize newsletters.
All useful. All worked.
But tactics expire.
Platforms change. Algorithms shift. Tools get replaced. What works on X today might not work in 6 months. The perfect hook formula gets overused and stops working.
Skills transfer. Tactics don't.
Pattern recognition works whether you're building on X, writing newsletters, or managing projects. Decision-making under uncertainty applies to content strategy, product launches, or career pivots. Relationship building matters in every domain.
These skills worked when I pivoted from X-ray tech to poker. From poker to radiation inspection. From inspection to data analysis. From analysis to project management. From project management to building online.
Same skills. Different domains. Always transferable.
That's where I'm going in 2026.
AD BREAK: The article continues below
Banish bad ads for good
Your site, your ad choices.
Don’t let intrusive ads ruin the experience for the audience you've worked hard to build.
With Google AdSense, you can ensure only the ads you want appear on your site, making it the strongest and most compelling option.
Don’t just take our word for it. DIY Eule, one of Germany’s largest sewing content creators says, “With Google AdSense, I can customize the placement, amount, and layout of ads on my site.”
Google AdSense gives you full control to customize exactly where you want ads—and where you don't. Use the powerful controls to designate ad-free zones, ensuring a positive user experience.
What This Means for You
Starting January 6, the monthly themes go deeper:
Month 4: Pattern Recognition How to see what others miss in business, content, relationships. The patterns that repeat across every successful person's journey.
Month 5: Decision-Making How to act confidently when you lack perfect information. The framework for fast, smart decisions under uncertainty.
Month 6: Relationships How to build strategic connections that compound. Network architecture that creates opportunities without being transactional.
Month 7: Long-Term Thinking How to optimize for 3 years instead of 30 days. The patience protocols that separate builders from chasers.
Then repeat with deeper applications.
What's Not Changing
Publishing consistency stays: 5-6 articles weekly, no exceptions.
Revenue transparency stays: Monthly reports with real numbers.
Building in public stays: Showing the work, not just wins.
Direct, practical voice stays: No corporate speak, no fluff.
Same foundation. Going deeper on what lasts.
The Invitation
If transformation-focused content fits what you're building, you'll like this direction.
If you want quick hacks and platform tricks that expire in 6 months, this might not be it.
Either way is fine.
I'm teaching skills that transfer everywhere. Come along if it resonates.

Over the next year, Roku predicts that 100% of the streaming audience will see ads. For growth marketers in 2026, CTV will remain an important “safe space” as AI creates widespread disruption in the search and social channels. Plus, easier access to self-serve CTV ad buying tools and targeting options will lead to a surge in locally-targeted streaming campaigns.
Read our guide to find out why growth marketers should make sure CTV is part of their 2026 media mix.
The Future of Shopping? AI + Actual Humans.
AI has changed how consumers shop, but people still drive decisions. Levanta’s research shows affiliate and creator content continues to influence conversions, plus it now shapes the product recommendations AI delivers. Affiliate marketing isn’t being replaced by AI, it’s being amplified.
